Our New Weekly Series.
As the old saying goes: “the proof is in the pudding”. So each week we’ve decided to showcase a few of the websites we’ve personally designed and created in the medical field.
1. Phlebotomy.Careers
The owners behind this Phlebotomy training guide website wanted to create a clean and straightforward layout. The purpose of the site is to give website visitors information about how to become a Phlebotomist. The website is primarily informational, so the focus for the site was to create simple, clean, easy-to-read posts that website visitors will find easy to read and navigate with. We were also able to use a godaddy promo code to save them lots of money on their web hosting.
Many of our medical, dental and orthopedic websites will focus on converting website visitors to paying customers via contact forms and easy to find phone numbers.
We decided to use a premium WordPress theme called Sahifa. Our clients specifically requested a WordPress theme for ease-of-use.
This particular Phlebotomy website, however, is focused on giving viewers the information they need, and then converting them into community college students. This is done via a ‘school directory’ that we spent weeks compiling school information for. The users enter their zipcode into the school directory, and then all colleges that offer training programs related to Phlebotomy will appear as a list. We tried to create a database of information as comprehensive as campus explorer, but a little easier to use.
To do this, we collected information on over 2,000 colleges, universities and training schools across the United States. Then, we created a database and easy-to-use plugin for users to easily search for a school in their area.
The results speak for themselves. The website is a year old now, and already ranks #1 for many competitive Phlebotomy keywords. The website continues to grow in traffic each day as the website gets bigger and better.
